Do you love your pastries, pasta, and bread but can’t handle the gluten sensitivity? Well, you can now switch to gluten-free superfoods that taste just as good as wheat.

Superfoods are not your regular, everyday foods as they have loads of enzymatic activity and nutrition. Also, they have phytochemicals and other properties that speed up the body’s healing mechanisms.

Teff is an excellent wheat substitute that grows well in dry climates. Being a versatile grain, Teff can make delicious pastries, pancakes, and yummy desserts. Furthermore, this superfood has 20 times more calcium, 50% more protein, and five times more fiber than brown rice. 

 You can now enjoy high amounts of magnesium, calcium, and iron needed for body’s growth and repair.

Hemp Seeds

Hemp seeds are an excellent source of vegan protein. It’s high in antioxidants, vitamin E, fiber, and calcium. With over ten essential amino acids and omega-3, hemp is a must-have superfood. 

You can now find hemp protein powder and flour to make your favourite muffin, brownies, and energy bars. It’s important to note that what you find as medical cannabis baked goods are different from hemp food products. You won’t get high consuming foods made using hemp seed flour.

Buckwheat
