In a large saucepan combine everything except chia seeds. Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently

Remove from the stove and cool. Taste for sweetness, if you like the jam sweeter add more maple syrup

Add chia seeds and mix well. Set aside for 5 minutes. Mix one more time and transfer to a glass jar. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours

Note: this jam will keep up to 30 days when refrigerated
